Happens quite often, too often for my taste, even on DV6s. (Translated review)

Further to our telephone conversation, I can confirm that, with Krosfou 2019 technology, the heat shields of original parts are not to be fitted to DV6 engines: it's therefore normal that you should have encountered difficulties during assembly (!) Furthermore, concerning our hand-made welds, while they may not be the most beautiful, they are in any case the most resistant, and enable us to guarantee all our parts for at least 3 years.
