1 - Introduction and Purpose :
The website www.krosfou.co.uk is operated by the company Krosfou, a simplified joint-stock company with a capital of 10,000 Euros, whose head office is located at 49 rue de Ponthieu 75008 Paris - UK tel: 0207 031 6600.

Krosfou sells to the general public and to professionals in the UK, in Europe and in the World (consult us), new, high performance and stainless steel Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF), catalytic converters (auto catalysts) and parts of automobile exhaust system, new, high performance, manufactured in Europe and conform to manufacturers' specifications.
Any order validated by a user, which must necessarily have full legal capacity, on the site www.krosfou.co.uk or by telephone, implies the unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions in their entirety as displayed on the website at the date of placing the order and described below. No condition contained in other documents, delivered or not to a user, can be integrated into the present, since these documents would be incompatible with these Terms of Sales that will prevail over any other condition.
Krosfou reserves the right to modify its Terms of Salse at any time and without notice.

2 - Order :
Only persons with full legal capacity as defined in the Civil Code can order.

Orders are placed on the website www.krosfou.co.uk 7 days a week and 24 hours a day, or by calling 0207 031 6600 (customer service) from Monday to Saturday from 8:00am to 6:00pm. The user commits himself on the veracity of the information that he communicates and will be engaged by any paid order that has required the use of his email and personal Krosfou password. Krosfou's automatic registration systems are considered as proof of the nature, the content, the date of the order, as well as all past transactions. Krosfou can cancel any order from a user with whom there may be an existing or potential dispute. The information given by the user when taking the order is the responsibility of the latter, as an example, for an error in the address of the recipient preventing the proper distribution of the order, Krosfou could not be held responsible for the impossibility of delivery. If two users of www.krosfou.co.uk were to order the last copy of a product reference indicated as << in stock >>, the last one to pay may have to wait 3 to 5 working days before the sending of his order (time for re-stocking the product reference from our factory).

3 - Products :
The products marketed by Krosfou in the UK comply with the UK legislation in force and with the applicable European standards.

Krosfou presents on its website the products for sale with their essential characteristics. However, the photographs, text, graphics, information and reproduced features illustrating the products are given for information only.

4 - Price :
The price of the products sold is expressed in Pounds, excluding shipping costs. It is expressed all taxes included (tax incl.) for private customers in the UK or in Europe, and duty-free (tax excl.) for international customers, professionals and wholesalers connected with their identifier on www.krosfou.co.uk.

The VAT rate in effect on the date the order is registered applies to all invoices issued by Krosfou.
The price indicated in the order confirmation is the definitive price (except factory error or data entry error) including the price of the products and the shipping costs.

5 - Payment :
The payment of the order is carried out:

- online with a credit card (VISA, Eurocard / Mastercard, etc.): the user is required to provide the type of credit card, its number, expiration date and cryptogram. A 3D-SECURE code (provided by his bank, usually by SMS at the time of the transaction) may be required. The user guarantees that he is authorized to use the card and that he gives access to sufficient funds to cover all costs resulting from his order.
The transactions are carried out on an HTTPS link established by REVOLUT between the customer and the payment server. Sensitive data (credit card number, expiration date, ...) fully encrypted and protected in SSL, cannot be intercepted by a third party during the transaction. The payment can be refused without motivation by REVOLUT which has a real time access to information and statistics of use of bank credit cards.
- by bank transfer (processing time of 3 working days minimum before shipment): the order will be shipped upon receipt of funds, usually within 3 to 5 business days.

Krosfou reserves the right to suspend any order processing in case of refusal of payment authorization by officially accredited bodies, or in the event of non-payment. To protect the interests of its users, Krosfou may also need to check the validity of payments made. As part of an audit, the user may be asked to send by email to the company Krosfou supporting documents within 72 hours. After this check, Krosfou reserves the right to accept or reject the order.
In case of payment problem, please call Krosfou customer service on 0207 031 6600 who will be happy to help you and to indicate you the cause of the blockage (ex: credit card ceiling reached, etc.).

6 - Delivery :
Krosfou's order confirmation usually occurs a few minutes after the user's online payment. Krosfou ships the order the same day if it was received before noon, otherwise the next working day. Krosfou undertakes to deliver the references ordered by the customer within 96 working hours in the UK subject to their availability. In the event that these parts are not in stock, a period of 3 to 5 days (or more) for re-stocking the product reference from our factory will be necessary. Krosfou will then inform the customer by e-mail of the estimated delivery time, if he requests it.

Possible delivery methods in the UK:
<<UPS Standard delivery>>: delivery in 2-3 days in the UK between 9:00am and 6:00pm, for any order validated before noon.
<<UPS Express delivery 24h 18h/6pm>>: delivery under 24h in the UK guaranteed by UPS before 6pm the next day for any order validated before noon.
Possible delivery methods abroad:
<<DPD Europe delivery>>: delivery in 2-3 days in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain. Delivery in 2-4 days in Switzerland. Delivery in 4-5 days in Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden.
<<UPS Express delivery 24h around 9h / before 12h / before 18h>>: delivery under 24h guaranteed all over Europe (Switzerland included) by UPS at 9h, before 12h or before 18h the next day depending on the chosen service, for any order validated before noon.
<<Express World delivery>>: delivery by air in 3-6 days worldwide, thank you kindly to consult us.
Possible delays do not entitle the buyer to claim damages or to obtain reimbursement of transportation costs.
An order can be delivered several times to the customer at no additional cost depending on the availability of parts.
If the conditions of access to the place of delivery chosen by the user (works, blocked/too narrow street, unknown door code, intercom inaccessible ...) do not allow the carrier to make the delivery by the main access of housing, delivery may not take place; delivery costs are however borne by the user.
The goods shipped travel at the risk of the recipient: it is required to check the general condition of the package and to express specific reservations (on the voucher) to the carrier in case of damaged parts: otherwise no refund or exchange will be possible; do not hesitate to contact Krosfou on 0207 031 6600 in the presence of the carrier.
In case of absence of delivery, non-delivery must be notified to [email protected] within 10 days from the date of dispatch; any other claims must be notified within 30 days of receipt of the order. In the absence of a written notice in time, the order shall be deemed delivered in accordance with the Terms of Sales.
In the event of error of ordered product(s) and regardless of the origin of the error, Krosfou is not liable for any direct or indirect damage, any loss of operation, any loss of profits or turnover in any way whatsoever.

7 - Returns :
No refund will be accepted without the prior written consent of the Krosfou After-Sales Service which can be reached by email at [email protected], which will provide you with a return number if necessary, and which will give you the procedure to follow so that the return is carried out under the best conditions.

(1) If you have communicated to us the car registration and VIN/chassis number for which the order was made when ordering and that the product does not correspond to your vehicle, then you can benefit in the UK (and all over Europe) of the FREE RETURN within 30 days from the date of reception of the product, with the following reservations:
- that the product is in its original exact condition (not used, free of assembly signs, etc.), in perfect working condition, with all accessories attached,
- that the product be returned in its original packaging (cardboard, intact packing bag, ...),
- that the product be placed in a return box with the return number (provided by the Krosfou After-Sales Service) clearly visible on the outside, and the product be correctly protected inside.
The returned product will be directly picked-up at your place and will be refunded by Krosfou using the payment method having been used when ordering, after reception of the product by our factory.
(2) If you want to benefit from the legal right of withdrawal of 14 days, and provided that the following conditions are met:
- the product is in its original exact condition (not used, free of assembly signs, etc.), in perfect working condition, with all accessories attached,
- the product is returned in its original packaging (cardboard, intact packing bag, ...),
- the product is placed in a return box with the return number (provided by the Krosfou After-Sales Service) clearly visible on the outside, and the product is correctly protected inside,
you can contact the Krosfou After-Sales Service at [email protected] who will communicate you the procedure to follow.
The returned product will be directly picked-up at your place and will be refunded by Krosfou using the payment method having been used when ordering, return costs deducted (which are in this case at your expense), after reception of the product by our factory.
In all other cases, the cost of return is at your own expense, and any refund (partial or total) is made only after the expertise of the product in our factory.

8 - Warranty :
The diesel particulate filters and catalytic converters marketed by Krosfou are covered by a 3-year WARRANTY limited to a use not exceeding 60,000 miles.

The warranty period begins on the date of receipt of the product. To be covered by their respective warranty, particulate filters and catalytic converters must comply with the following conditions: their installation must have been carried out in an assembly/garage center specialized in the replacement of exhaust systems, the defects having directly damaged the part to be replaced must have been eliminated, and the assembly instructions must have been followed. The manufacturer's instructions must also be strictly observed: never start by pushing or towing, never check the operation of the engine with the ignition wires open, replace the spark plugs and engine oil regularly, and periodically check the operation of the engine at a specialized automotive technical control center.
Specific conditions that must be observed for diesel particulate filters/DPF: the use of the vehicle should not be limited to short journeys, indeed if the engine does not reach its operating temperature, the soot emitted during combustion and intercepted by the filter, can not be burned by the passive regeneration system, which has the effect of reducing the life of the DPF.
Specific conditions to be observed for catalytic converters: the car must only run on unleaded petrol, the car must have been originally equipped with a catalytic converter, the Lambda sensor must be replaced at the same time as the used catalytic converter (after 50,000 to 60,000 mi.), if it is necessary to install a connection in front of the catalytic converter, only copper connections must be used while checking the tightness of the exhaust system, finally the catalytic converter must be adapted to the engine displacement.
The warranty is limited to replacing a reference bought with another identical reference. Disassembly, immobilization of the vehicle or any other costs incurred by the customer are in no case supported by Krosfou. The warranty can only apply to parts assembled by the assembly center/garage having established the invoice in the name of the buyer of the product reference. Krosfou can not be held liable for any indirect damage, for any loss of profit or turnover in any way whatsoever.
In order not to block your vehicle, we can sell you an equivalent reference pending the guarantee agreement of our factory. This will be refunded after expertise/agreement of our factory.
Products whose failure is the result of negligence, or improper use of Krosfou diesel particulate filters or catalytic converters, will loose their warranty.

9 - Disputes :
These Terms of Sales are subject to French law.

Krosfou can not be held liable for damages of any kind, whether tangible or intangible, which could result from a malfunction or a misuse of the products sold. Krosfou's liability cannot in any case exceed the amount of the payment made for the order giving rise to that said liability.
Complaints or special requests will always be welcomed with kindness for those who make the effort to reveal a problem, and Krosfou will make its best to find an amicable solution.
Otherwise, the Commercial Court of Paris has exclusive jurisdiction, regardless of the terms of the order, the place of delivery or the method of payment accepted. If any of the provisions of these Terms of Sales were to be considered illegal or unenforceable by a court decision, the other provisions of these Terms of Sales would remain in force.

10 - Computing and Freedom :
The website www.krosfou.co.uk has been the subject of a declaration to the CNIL, in accordance with articles 39 and following of the law n° 78-17 of January 6, 1978 modified in 2004 relating to data processing, files and liberties, under the receipt number 1918649. Any user can obtain communication and, if necessary, rectification or suppression of information concerning him, by sending an email to [email protected] In order to improve the service quality, calls made to Krosfou are likely to be recorded.
